Nice ride Pat, love the termination point... 'Military Surplus'

Looks like your roads are in the same condition as ours in the UK, I was amazed at how many potholes there were. I thought we were the world leaders in poor road surfaces!

I'm also amazed at the quality of these little cameras.

    Hey Andy

Likewise, I also have one of the original ones, I've never used it. Do you have any basic instructions for working it?, I appear to have misplaced mine.

I ordered one last week and it showed up today. This thing is cool. I can't wait till I get to attach it to one of my planes. I also found a hack on RC Groups that allows continuous recording up to 4 gig's and gets rid of the time date stamp.

Here is the link if your interested.

Jem - The roads here are a real sore topic of discussion. Because we have pretty rough winters with snow on the roads, Les Schwab (the local tire empire) sells tires with metal studs on them which eats the roads to shit and back. Quite the racket they got going, they charge to put the studs on and they charge to take them off. Studded tires should be banned. They usually get the roads in decent shape right before the first snow fall and we repeat the whole thing the next spring. I for one think that if the roads are too icy...stay the f home, it will thaw my mornin.

I uploaded a longer version of (aaahhhemmmm) much faster ride but it was too long and youtube rejected it. I hit some wacky speeds and the camera was very stable the whole time. When I get back from texas, ill do a mountain ride and upload some highlights

One thing I've noticed with these tiny cameras, is sometimes if you use them on something small (Such as a little RC car), the bumps it encounters make the image all wavy and pretty much useless. How are these cameras at fast vibrations?

Here is a video of my kids riding the Titan roller coaster at Six Flags Over Texas on saturday. The date and time stamp are incorrect. The mini spy camera was hand held as there was no real quick way to attach it to the coaster.
