    Default F2000 RGB DPSS projector

    DreamBeamz;

I'd be interested in a group buy... But it's going to have to wait a while. I'm pretty much tapped out at the moment.

Still, after hearing you talk about the F2000 unit, I WANT ONE!!! (grin)

You know, I have one simple request. And that is to have sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads!

depending on quanity, $1600 including shipping or less.

    Pros:
    -Analog Blanking
    -Galvos not stepper motors
    -Good airflow with filtered fans
    -Color balanced extremely well
    -Compact design

    Cons:
-No IR filter on green or blue
-Cheaper dicros with estimated 5% loss per beam
-Dicro mounts need slight adjustment on arrival after shipping
-When pushed to around 20k the red blanking cant keep up, not a huge difference but noticable to the trained eye

That's about $200 less than the one listed on E-bay!

As for the red blanking dropping off at 20K, I don't see that as a big problem unless you remove the 15K galvos that are pre-installed and stick in something a lot faster.

The lack of IR filters is a little concerning, but I imagine one could always place an IR filter in the beam path just before the galvos... How much would a 1 inch square IR filter cost anyhow?

Will the analog blanking work as TTL if you hooked them up to a TTL system?
What I mean is will thay turn off and on at full power with +5 and -0 volts?

Yes, works well. Remember I have full-auto not pangolin which doesnt do the analog. I tested the analog with a source. With TTL the color balance is still unbeleavable

I tested the output power with IR filters and it is above 400mw. Its well above a watt without (tons of IR light) The red can keep up with the 15k speed, its when you hit above 20k that the red doesnt quite keep up, most people even some laserist wouldnt notice what i am talking about.

Anyhow, to clarify price a little. A single unit ordered would be around $1600 after shipping. with 3 or 4 the price would come down to $1400us after shipping. Also, a group buy on a small quanity of IR filters would be needed.
