    Yes, they're double sided adhesive.

    Now THAT (Insulation Strength >7,000V/mm ) does look like it's electrically isolated .....thanks for the link !

    Anyone know a supplier of this stuff in UK?

    However the heat conducting properties are somewhat "Relative"....... what they describe as " good thermal conductivity" = 1.6 W/m-k = ? although similar to thermal grease, which is used as a much thinner film so much less of a heat barrier, this value is in between "soil" and "concrete/stone" or much higher than "water" but much lower than "ice" ........ according to Wikipedia, whereas pure aluminium is 237 W/m-k and copper is 401 W/m-k

    You can also use Kapton tape for a more rigid insulator. This is also generally one-sided adhesive, which can be more advantageous than double sided (especially if disassembling and reassembling).
