leading in trailing technology
My back is killing me, but I finally got everything loaded into the Jeep. 4 projectors, 1 beam rail, 2 computers, 3 monitors, a *ton* of cables and adapters (3 tote bins full), my DMX board, the ILDA splitter, an oscilloscope, a fog machine, a fan, the door prizes, the two-way radios, the scrim, a folding table and chair, my tool box, the 16-channel mixer, and a bunch of other shit that I probably won't need but decided to bring anyway. Sigh. It fits together like a drunken tetris puzzle, but it fits.
Now to pack my suitcase...

Hah! Well, perhaps from some-perspectives... http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fb...1001759&type=1![]()
...actually, the 'proper' name is "dimple tube", but one time, I was trying to explain that effect to a Client, and came up with 'torture tube', to-describe what it seems to 'do' to the light - twists it thru multi-layered 'contorsions', etc, that, when 'tuned-properly', end-up producing breathtaking aurora-like fx, with 'depth', even... one of the most-innovative / spellbinding fx Laserium ever came-up with, imo - any Co, for that-matter...I think Sir Polishedball might have a nice one / custom-module to show ya'll at S'LEM, there, for your viewing-pleasure...
..speaking of that:
..here's to ya'll and a great weekend!
Say 'hi' to Sir Walsh and Sir Makhov for me, and hope to see ya down the road... Unless I win some lotto or close a 5-digit gig between now and Fri-nite...
cheers...

Steve Roberts was selling some glass torture-tube lumia effects a while back. I bought a few of them, and they make the perfect "wave lumia". Simply breathtaking...

Yes, everyone bring as many projectors as you can! No slacking?![]()
Nap is over, truck is packed, and I am about to head to DZ's house. See y'all in the morning!![]()
I'm on schedule to leave out of here in about 6 hours myself. I really should be sleeping, but as usuall I'm too damned keyed-up to sleep.
Wow - the load-in starts in less than 12 hours! Guess there's nothing that's going to stop this freight train now....
See you all very soon. Hope everyone has a safe trip!

I'm here.... waiting on the rest of you..... :-)
I probably won't leave Raleigh until 5pm so will see you all right about when you're all half drunk at the Bistro.
