The deal was MAX cost of 60$ for 4pc mounts

My idea was to just BUY NOW, and then maybe sell them after
The "Buy Now" price was not that bad at all

No - I wouldn't mark them up... I'd sell them for actual cost + shipping.

My point was that the buy it now is *double* the opening bid... In my book that means it's worth it to wait and try to snipe it for potentially a lot less than the $200 buy-it-now price. ($200, plus the $15 shipping, that makes it $215/12, or $17.92 apiece and $71.68 for 4 of them... Then you have to ship those 4...) If we get it for $99, plus $15 shipping, we're looking at $114/12, or just $9.50 each and 38 bucks for 4...

I dont know man... I fallow these auctions in the "business and industrial" section under the search phrase "newport"...

More often than not these things disappear before the auction is over or the last minute sniping hits outrageous levels.

The only thing going for these is that they are quite old, relatively speaking.

Well, you found them first, so it's your call. If you want to take the buy it now price, go ahead. I might buy a few of them from you later on... I just didn't want to pay that much for them.

If you don't take the buy it now, I'll leave my snipe active and try to get them for less than $200. Assuming I win, I'll sell you the ones you want for cost.

I'm not trying to upstage you - I just think that almost $18 a piece is a bit high for a lot of 12 of these things, especially when the opening bid is half that price and there's been no action on the auction so far...

thats not a bad price for the mounts
but those are pretty big mounts
if you are trying to keep your projector small
these could get in the way
