I'm in the market for a 532nm system with decent analog modulation/beam specs in the 500mW range. any recommendations? I'm in the States.
Thanks!

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
How about DHOM?

I would suggest LaserWave... have a few heads and no problems so far...
Slight communications problem with DHOM.

Just a thought Song, since you speak/read/understand Chinese... do you have any direct contact with DHOM ?
Cheers
I don't contact DHOM personally...... we purchase green laser diodes from them after testing.
Most of the diode is great, some have the problem as yours, we will return it for the good one. Why not call them derectly and return to them?
The best way is to contact the person who sell to you, or the sales from DHOM don't know who you are...

Hey Swami-D,
This title is false advertising. Haha. The 2 DHOM greens I own are just fine with plenty of use. I have heard of some easier repairs too. Like not a huge hassle but yeah you gotta send it in. Over power is their style too. Like my 600mw doin 710. Contact direct if you don't find Shaun. I like their value 2nd. -jimmy

Hey Cantalango did you try szdh@dhomoptics.com if I remember correctly this one is different than Shawn.
Don't read Chinese but the handy English tab works like a charm.
Sorry about your unfortunate situation with them. I remembered other contacts previously for DHOM bypassing Shawn but don't see anything other than this other e-mail accnt. I have not had the need to return mine they work stable. Great laser for a good price in my eye.
