Sitting here at work using the cheap LCD monitor supplied I can see the difference between the whites in the two units from the first picture you posted.
From my perspective the one on the right is just a hint more green.
(I work in a lighting store and this is a common problem with new LED lighting technology. Different batches of LED products have those slight shifts in color. Some are almost purple, some green, others blue, when compared to a true white source. It's the biggest drawback in the industry so far and the reason why it is so slow getting to the market. Millions are being spent trying to solve this problem of consistency.)
