    Default Modulation troubles...

    Hi..
Have a 445nm diode hooked up to a flexmod driver and scanning with Scanpro 20's using the included control board, have the diode set to 600ma, but ever time i hook it up to the modulation output the current goes up to 1400ma...

Not that im complaining about the power, but i would like it to be less and it seems odd because the driver is set to the 1 Amp and down mode.

    Thanks

double check your configuration. it sounds like you have the bais set to 600mA and the current set to 1400mA.

set the bias to just below lasing threshold. try ~150mA and current (with the modulation inputs shorted) to ~1000mA.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
