the only optimization you can get is point pulling and changing the point density.
This cannot be done with the flash converter.
You can get flash animations to laser.. but they are basic and hand drawing is most efficient.

Yeah that's why I made the second one. I can do these kinds of animations pretty easily since it's so simple.

    Here how is this one?

spacejay, that looks more like it... one challenge left would be to remove that sticking out part of the lightsaber thats intersecting with the sword. if that's done it's perfect.

it looks very good in laser and uses less then the minimum of 200 points :P

Or I can just alter the optimization settings.
But yeah a higher complexity then that will not do too well.

You can alter whatever you want on your animations. As far as mine are concerned that's for me and my client to worry about

Here's another animation I just finished just to show you guys some easy stuff I can do. Again don't expect such a simple animation to be the final outcome

You're getting there. Not sure how that one would end up on the point count, but it would probably work. Remember, with laser artwork, less is more. You've got limited points, so you need to tell your story without drawing everything. Sometimes that means you only do characters from the torso up, so you can spend more points (detail) on their facial expression. Still, nice work dude...

RE: your earlier animations... They're OK, but they are totally unsuitable for laser work. You've got to work in outlines only. If you have to put text in the picture, try to stay with single-line fonts and keep the number of characters to a minimum. (Text really eats up points!)
