Default Can anyone tell what notes these are?

I'm considering learning this song on the laser harp, as it's really fitting I think (If you know the original by Animusic). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmsOutMp92o

I have figured out the first like, 4 notes on my launchpad, however there seem to be a few notes missing between the rows, so I need to try programming them into the laser harp.

Unfortunately, my ears haven't been trained to pick notes from music

If anyone could help, I'd appreciate it!

    Cheers,
    Dan

I think I can do that. Should I just write them down or do you need a .mid file?

If you know the MIDI note equivalent, that would be great

You should get on the phone with these guys from Austin, TX. They make one hell of a machine for that cheesy mono lead sound.

hahaha. Well, I'm hoping to learn this song on the laser harp.

Since the original video by animusic has a laser creating the synth, why not do it in real life?

If I can pick it up fast enough, may be able to play it at the school presentation night, which would be a LOAD of fun (And a chance to get the harp out of the house :P)

    I'm on it :-)
I'm having exams right now and I need an excuse to get away from it a couple of hours.

Anyway, see it as a thank you for the effort you put in the laser harp project.

Haha, exams!! I just literally finished my year 12 final exams today

Still got more smaller exams and heaps of assignments to go before I am finished, however!

Thanks for looking into this for me

Here's the first part, until right before the beat kicks in. It's not hard at all to figure out the notes, it's the rythm. Maybe you need to adjust it here and there.

Oh wait, I can't upload .mid-files to PL. Let's see if there is an easy way around this.

Easy way found: it now has the .txt-extension. Replace .txt with .mid and it should work.

    Thanks a lot!

Could you possibly tell me the MIDI note numbers you used in these files? Or how I can find them out, so I can set the appropriate notes on the harp

    Cheers,
    Dan
