    Hi Adam,

Sorry i was half asleep last time i had a peek at the list, false alarm.
There might still be a half dozen songs missing . If you scutinize the suggestions that have been spread across several threads and upload them when you find them then we're close to having a complete list.

Default updated song list for laser shows

51 songs as of noon Wednesday. (Eastern Daylight Time, that is...)
I'll look through my library and see if there are any other songs on the suggested list that I can upload.

    ---------------------------------
    (EDIT)

    Ok - I've uploaded everything I have.

The original list of songs (compliled from several threads) contained 45 songs. 29 of those songs have been uploaded so far. The 16 songs that we are missing are as follows:

Chicken train by The Ozark Mountain Daredevils
Good Ol Boys by Waylon Jennings (Dukes of Hazard song)
Chicken With The Train by Cowboy Troy
Stray Cat Strut by the Stray Cats
Big Tits by Joe Walsh or other songs by him
Pacman Fever by Buckner & Garcia
Anything by Pink Floyd (lots already done)
    Whte Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane
    Space oddity - David bowie
    Rock Lobster - The B-52's
Little Red Riding Hood - The Bobs
    Secret Agent Man - Devo
Funny Farm (They're Coming To Take Me Away) - Dr. Demento
Land of A Million Drums - Outkast
    Everything - Collective Soul
Everybody Wants You - Billy Squier

However, there are *lots* of other songs that have been uploaded in their place! Right now there are 78 songs on the FTP server :!: (14:00 PM July 5th)

And I admit it; I'm guilty of uploading some of the extras...

is it better to upload them in zip format or mp3?. I uploaded mine in zip only because it was suggested, but I don't see any real benefits. zip files cannot compress mp3 any more than it already is so there's no bandwidth savings . Maybe I'm missing something here

the idea was to rename the .MP3 to .ZIP (maybe .DOC)
So there not so much MP3 traffic on the server we dont want RIAA on this forum

But when there is 30tracks with .mp3 .. i think it`s no use to start rename the others to ZIP.. ? It`s all up to the owner of the FTP

Maybe we can get a vote soon on the music to narrow down to contenders, semi-finalists, finalists...
I have no real preferences. I will work any music thats chosen.

But I do like Happy Song!
Its fun and easy to listen too.
Not endorsing it for a laser show though.

Yes, I agree, we have plenty of songs to choose from

I have no preference on the songs I have listened to, although I found "cotton eye joe" kinda funny :P
