    Seems our favorite hand held "Burning laser" manufacturers have gotten a largish green DPSS product out.
    I wonder how much of the measured output is at 1064?

    At least these are sufficiently expensive to discourage all but the 'enthusiast' end of their market.
    I cannot see a sane use for a watt beam in a hand held package, period.

    For the 1k asking price I'm not impressed. There was a review of one over on LPF and it only put out ~650mw after IR filtering. The thought of some idiot getting one and lasing a plane with it truly scares me.
