There's no such thing as inexpensive laser equipment, you might not pay as much now, but you pay later when either you realise what you bought is shit, or it breaks and you have to buy it again or pay to have it repaired.

However, I respect your desire to acquire parts for the least cost. Don't we all?

I use FlexMod P3s for analogue drivers, though I'm waiting for Solarfire's Fire'nIce combo drivers for future builds.

I wouldn't buy anything cheaper than CNI (yes they are cheap, compared to how much a US or European DPSS costs). You might get better pricing on CNIs from chinesedepartmentstore or something like that.

true i guess cni really isn't that bad most of what i see people buying from there is exotic wavelength but i also cant buy from them because they do not accept paypal. ok in (edited as to not offend anyone) ... so flexmods are not my first choice.

so im going to check out the seller reveiw section. because im being lazy its funny how quickly i forget how annoying obvious questions can be when i am the one asking them

Now to be fair, they did send me a second set which look OK. Dave at LSP also helped me out, so I'm over it now and OK.

But let that be a warning to anyone thinking they can save $100 instead of buying DTs.

Yes, using the galvo psu is a bad idea.
I use a mini cpu psu as it has alot of useful voltages and very stable.
But a laptop power supply could also do very well.
i thought about that driver but for now im staying TTL drivers.
once i get the time i plan on making some analog mod drivers based somewhat off the die4drivers.
BTW does robin even make those drivers still, the site has not changed in years.
