It should be available cheaper somewhere =)
suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

I personnaly have the Belkin Home Base and it was around 130$.

Worked great with my two FB3 but had some bad behavior sometimes. Didn't have any problem since I changed for some native rugged ethernet solutions

When God said “Let there be light” he surely must have meant perfectly coherent light.

I (still!) have the Belkin Network USB hub (F5L009uk) and it has some serious problems with disconnecting and locking up. Unusable in any real sense.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

Not a Pangolin solution, I switched to the Fiesta.NET PRO, a triple ethernet controller in a 19" rack two years ago.

I remember some locking up problems (complete computer freeze) too with mine, but only if you didn't disconnected the hardware in the Belkin software before removing USB or ethernet cable. And took a while to connect to the hardware (>30sec per device). Otherwise it worked great as far as I remember...

My issue was the computer lockup, but mine would do it if the PC was left to idle for 10 or 15 minutes. Completely useless in an 8 or 10 hour party situation.

Maybe an issue with the automatic disconnect after some idle time, is there not a software parameter to disable?

Yes there is, but no it didn't cure it. I spent a long time with it, and some time with Pangolin before deciding it was a novelty at home but not really viable for practical gigging. Hence my interest in Gemini/Apollo since Bill first discussed it.
