I am looking for 640nm red laser diode's.
To build my own diode aray's.

what is the best lens ?
what is the best place for buy a red 640nm diode ?

hope someone can give me some good tips.
i know where i can buy compleet working oem set, but the price is high.
so i look for other options. And it is fun to build !

Contact Edison (johan) or uncleworm (Francesco) they are both commercial sellers like you.
Those guys have alot of knowledge of laserdiodes and ways to combine them.
Francesco can deliver nice diodes. and johan develops nice LD holders/arrays to combine them.

There is also alot of info here on the forum, but you need to be more active in the community to read al the info.

it is not easy to keep all communitys op to date, there are so manny.
i love facebook i use it everyday! and i read the laserist.
but this is also a good usefull forum! i try to use it more in the future....
