I just started looking at the Jem K1 and the Ultratec Radiance, which I think might be a US version of the le Maitre Radiance. I haven't been able to find any good info on this, but they use the same fluid it seems. I can get a demo K1 for the same price as a new Ultratec. Anyone have experience with either?

EDIT: Still no definitive info, although it seems they are not. The Ultratec does great great reviews, however.

Are you just using this at home? Or is for real shows? If it is for home then really anything will work. But for shows in a big venue most of the water based hazers eat fluid like crazy.
We sold several to clients, within weeks they were calling complaining about going through 2quarts of fluid a night. At this point I reminded the client that we clearly stated that it was cheaper to buy the mdg atmospheres hazer then the cheapie.

Cheap machine = lots of fluid. Expensive machine = less fluid.

This is only going to be used at home and not in a large venue. I will report on its performance when it is received.
