Oh dear Karl. What happened to your projector and fb3? Was it a bad mains issue or something down to the wrong wires plugged into the wrong place?

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?
I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.
Got back in good time, all the major roads were clear/moving & I hope it was the same for everyone else.
Another splended LEM been and gone, good to meet up again with the regulars as well as a couple of new faces. Rob and Paul were conspicuous by absence, but there's always next time.. Thanks very much Dimers for the audio wotsit, Dilbert for the help and advice, Karl for the indoor fireworks, and cheersto everyone for the chats, banter and getting there and making it what it is. Most of all, big hugs to Sir Jim for all the effort, venue and opportunity to geek out for a few days, you're speshul son!
Magic![]()

Got home about 3.30, roads were ok though I'm not sure how much fun they'll be later!
Thanks to Jim and all who braved the snow for another fantastic meet, will sort out photos and stuff later!
P.S. Special thanks to Nige for the help changing the car battery, my gamble that it would last another day or so did not pay off!![]()
roads were great, not many cars and my twohour journey took me 1.45mins
more photos to come later in the week

ps Nige, good luck with the project...can't wait to see the finished product, although sitting on me sofa now, my back's now stiffer than a preacher's cock up a calf's ass after removing that scope tranny.

We are halfway on the Canal, so around 8PM UK time (9PM Dutch time) we will arrive, after having had a great LEM and , at least i think, a great first LEM for Ernst and Wookie (and AndyT hahaha). Ernst and i had loads of fun, we will have to drive another couple of hours, but it was all worth and to people that stayed at home.... YOU MISSED A GREAT LEM. Good atmosphere, nice new faces, new gear.
I won't be able to join you guys for the showlem, i hope a lot of people will be coming over for the DUTCHLEM on 18-20th of may in Marrum, The Netherlands. Some of you showed some interest what i really really appreciate.
Else we will see eachother end of August, 1st of September as i already booked my favorite room of choice in The SHIP !
Will sleep in the hall on saturday due to a wedding, if a slot comes free i am allowed to take it. That nice lady Ann-louise in the Ship is sure a friendly lady.
