Another fantastic LEM & great to see everyone new and old - shame we were a bit short on gassers this one. I got back OK although took 3.5 hrs in end, main roads were fine but bit dodgy near home took a while.
Thanks to all for your help getting first light out my projector, im very pleased with how it progressed over the days.
Unpacking I seem to have aquired an orange screwdriver and misplaced a small pack of allen keys so it you claim or find let me know........

Andy, let me know where I can find the pics...

I am still recovering from 3 days of solid lasering, sadly only the Friday at UKLEM where I hardly touched my lasers...

Was really great to see everyone again, plus a couple of new faces... It was actually a refreshing change to just have a chat and a laugh with everyone, instead of being buried in my projectors aligning stuff... And I certainly had a few laughs, Mr Briggs!!!

I'm not going to write a huge list of thankyou's, each and every one of you are top people and I'm sure you already know this... But I would like to publicly thank Jim (Smog) for (A) the selfless act of going through the hassle of still putting on these events, even though he is currently without a laser projector, but hopefully that won't be for long... And (B) for PAT testing all my kit and fixing my dodgy DMX controller...

Also, thanks to Ady (Dilbert) for the superb deal on the truss clamps and flight case... I used them last night at a show and they are solid, to say the least... Don't forget to PM me mate...

Cheers everyone for the laughs and hopefully see you at Showlem, if not, UKLEM 13....

Well... another brilliant meet has gone by; mega ta for everyone making it so!

Absolutely brilliant to see everyone again, having a good ol' laugh, nice food and a few lasery-related things too.
So mega-thanks to all! Everyone makes it what the event is.

Dimmers & Ernst; great of you to 'pop down'; great to see you both again. I hope the ferry back is a good-un.

Jim-bob-a-doodle; a top rate job as usual Mr. Sir. Fleet. Nothing short of 6 potatoes per meter grade excellence!
    'Fanks!

Nige & Tony... scope teardown in a day? No fannying around there.
    Mighty impressive work.
Adrian kicked that tranny out 'good 'n' propper'

Everyone else; a pleasure as always for the awesome time!

Really looking forward to the next one. Whoop whoop!

    Cheers & Beers

    Hi All

What a great meet, thoroughly enjoyed it and thanks to everyone for making it such good fun . I'd like to offer my sincere apologies for not being able to help with clearing up, but unfortunately I wasn't too well on the Sunday, the trip home seemed like an eternity. I just walked in the house and crashed straight into bed for a few hours. All's well this morning though, so that's good.

I am now in posession of my new 'mini' RGB. HUGE thanks must go to Simon (P1t8ull) who spent pretty much the entire weekend finishing it off so I could bring it home with me. Simon, you're an absolute star!, this thing is a work of art and it's sooooo tiny. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to run any direct comparision between the EMS7000 scanners and the CT6215h's, so that may have to wait until next time. However, first viewings suggest that the EMS7000's are pretty damn good . This little baby is so cute and it's outputting >900mW of balance white light.

There's a hint of what it looks like in Dans post above, it's the last photo. It's a C*sio 445 blue, 2 x Opnext 150mW reds and a 250mW green. Beam profile is superb

Anyway, it was so nice to meet everyone again, it's like one big happy family. There were a few faces missing, probably due to the weather etc. Hope to see those either at the ShowLEM in July or at at the September Surfleet meeting.

Take care till next time folks.

    Jem
