Can he project complex Logo's with that projector?
(Don't get me wrong .. its a really nice price for an "entry" level projector)

I personally think its going to be really hard to build an projector + DAC that is capable of doing nice logo's (business logo's are often complex).
And doing that with resonable power, flicker free and safely so it reflects the good business one is doing.
Lasertext should not be the problem.

But all that for 800GBP..... thats hard!! even if you build the projector yourself
(i am MR MOST BANG FOR THE BUCK...and am scratching my head with this one)

well i think this is a beamshow laser.

it can make simpel pictures and txt sure!.
but not close to the dt40 or ct

so i must tell you NO
(i think 20-24k china so reeel maybe 12-18k)

if you are going to project graphics (text, logo's animations etc.) the beam properties (mRad and beam size) will mean a lot for the total result. how lower these values the better also if the beams are narrower their intensity is much more compared to big beams.

Also keep in mind that some trade shows have limits for lasers so be sure to go for a analogue laser so that you can adjust the output power according to the rules at the trade shows

For your budget, you are gonna have to go with a nice software+DAC combo with a low power projector or a budget software+DAC with high power projector. I would normally never never ever recommend iShow, but if you are only interested in displaying a logo or two with a simple animation, iShow might be okay. That would leave you with some flexibility in choosing a projector. Good luck!

i'd like to say it once again, it still amazes me that people haven't noticed and we are still talking about the ishow

there is no need for anyone to buy an iShow for 100 usd or a soundcard DAC, as the Riya lite sells for 145 usd
