Thnx, I was under the impression the DAC was connected directly to the lasers and the scanners. Will look into this!
For the Riya Multibus Lite, this one, it will simply mean that I have to connect the DAC/cable to the breakout board? From there, the connections run to the individual parts.

@Rizard, the club is not really like a discotheque, but a student building with all the appropriate facilities, music, dancearea, bars etc. (sociėteit). It is located in Enschede.

Just FYI, if you plan on building your projector it will likely take 5 times as long to finish as you estimated and cost about twice as much as you budgeted.

Time is of no essence, and money not really either. Just really wanting to make myself a projector.
I've had some contact with suppliers and I've been offered a set of PT-20k galvos for $70 + $40 for shipping. The Riya DAC will cost me €100 ($140) plus shipping, but I don't know this for sure.
I've been looking for a breakout board and came up with very different results. Some offer them for only a few bucks, others charge you 40 Pounds Sterling for it. Quite a large difference for a connector board. Is the price difference really something you notice?

well, the cheap board is just a connection board.
the more expensive gbp board is packed with safety and other features.

Consider also, that if you want to be crowd scanning, you WILL need to know how powerful your lasers are, so you will need to own, or have access to a power meter.
You will also need to understand how to calculate emissions in the crowd. You ask the question 'how powerful do myu lasers have to be to crowd scan' but in this case its how weak do they need to be. Don't forget to budget for a decent scanfail device, which I believe is a requirement in your country (and most others) for crowdscanning.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

    I second Morty's advice.
You are going to need to be very well versed in the math and safety factors involved. A beam that is bright enough to be seen with other lighting throughout the entire venue will be extremely hazardous to the people near the source.
Make sure you know all the necessary requirements and have backup safety measures for the eventual failure(s).

The reason why I asked this is because maybe is it good to have someone over to your societeit for a night, where he does the laser show with his own projector. And you help him with building and do maybe some live control. So you can see what is really needed and see what kind of power you will need, how the software works, how the setup is of the whole system etc etc.
