640nm, 150mw diodes

Hello !

I have for sell 8 set of 640nm 150mW diodes from Marco

I have 4 kits "mounted", who have always working with a tec (under 25°)
and 4 other are sell as kit, you must assemble them by yourself (never used)

Each are 150€ /kit (shipping include )

(I will consider diodes sold when at least 6 kits are sold)

Are these the Opnext HL6385DG diodes or maybe the Mitsu ML520G55-01
What is the OD of the collimator
Which lens do they have
Does the (I assume) highside (positive) driver have analogue modulation input and if so up to what frequency
Am I also right in assuming that the cathodes are connected to collimator case

I might well be interested in a couple or more...

Well it still seems awfully overpriced. Ofc I do not know what you paid for those diodes, but a Mitsubishi 300mW 635nm is ~60USD and a flexmod p3 is ~40 so for that setup you get an additional 150mW of power for 100USD, so unless your collimator and lens cost 50USD, which i doubt, then you would get alot more with this setup.

A mitsubishi might be 60usd, but there is no available optics solution to get a usable beam out of it. There is a whole multipage thread about this, you can check it out here http://www.photonlexicon.com/forums/...lashlight+fail

for the time being, the diodes for sale at this thread are the best of the best in terms of beam quality, visibility and usability. We are talking about opnext 6385 or 63133 here if i am not mistaken.

these retail new for more (or much more in the case of the 63133) than 120 usd, and at the sale price you get a collimator, lens, lens barrel and driver. it is a great deal if you ask me.

i hope this clears things up for you, once i could not get my head around the cost of these diodes. now i just try to ignore them

Ahh I see no one had mentioned that it was the opnext diode, that bugger cost ~140USD for the diode alone

Hi it's a opnext HL6385DG monomode LD
and Thorlabs A390-B curve Lens with FL4.6mm short focal ,very low losses...
CMS Driver is designed by Marco with + positive pilot : for me it's a great reliable product
