    I wonder if it uses these new Nichia 9.0mm diodes? They are spec'd 1.7A !!!

    i remember seeing one being opened up and they were not the 9mm it was just a larger heatsink.
    I also thought i read that the lenses were better.

    Tthe lenses were just as bad as the originals just larger in diameter.

    The M140 has 3 strings of 8 diodes in series instead of 4 strings of 6 diodes in series.
    This may indicate that:
    They have a new bin-strategy or
    Nichia now really masters the production process, minimizing specific deviations.

    i called casio and they not sell parts.
    so you must buy a complete projector.
