    Default Galvo control signal

    Hello!

I have a quick and easy question about controlling galvo scanners.

I was looking at these cheap ones from Ebay (no commission, promise I can delete the link after!):
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/20Kpps-las...item2c5930e6ef

Reason why, is because let's be honest - I may blow them up so might as well get cheap ones for first testing!

The spec, like more expensive ones state the following:
    Signal Input voltage:±5V
    Input voltage requirements: +15V/1.0A,-15V/0.6A
    Power supply: +/-15V@100mA

I have no problem supplying the correct bits with these power requirements, but I just want to ask; what control signal do I need to give to just use 1 axis? Does the ±5V will control the position of the mirror?

    Thanks!

I have heard of that company but wasn't sure, thanks! I'll contact them now and see what price I can get. Let me know how well they work! Am I right that they need a -5 to +5 voltage control signal? to position them?
