Too bad it's slow to obtain something from Connex, they are really good quality stuffs... I'm happy with my 180W SMPS from them, perfect for powering scanners, I hope you will be too

I use 2 traco,s of 24 and connect them in series that works perfect. Just a tip. A traco is only 2 inch by 4 inch So 4 x 4 with 2 of them next to eachother

Nice to see another guy finally received these babies!! Damn, you received a bigger package than me

Don't forget to tell here how are the ColorSafe working with the sensor once installed! I have two boards but without sensors at the moment (only green modules for now, no need for linearization), and I'm already impressed by how they work well to decrease brightness of too much powerful dots at a square's corner for example.

Btw, nice milling machine you have I should buy my own too one day, hopefully at the moment I have access to these nice at work but I won't have them forever...

i'd really love a mill thread, but i will try and restrain myself. this is the ems7000 thread and it is far more important than milling machines at the moment

feel free to post something when you start using it frank

I‘ts going to be a little bit. These are going into my 2 new, all Solarfire build RGBs. These will be mounted interchangeable, including IRIS, scanners, amps and power supply, on a modular sled type mount. That’s why the mill came into this, need it for doing the mounts.

Also I ordered their Soft Start V3 just to have a look, and it turns out a great thing I advice you if you have big power supplies into your projectors.

First it avoids inrush current when you turn projector on (I definitely see a difference, ambiant lights around are not blinking anymore when I switch projector on), and secondly, with it you avoid running main phase to a mechanical switch, since it has remote power on with 12V voltage. Connect this 12V to the input and it starts. Great because I dislike switching 230V directly with a switch, relays are much better

Btw, did someone already received parts from EyeMagic? Still nothing on my side...
I bit the bullet and ordered mine too. Got the two supplies and, the Soft Start as well. Now... to find someone knowledgeable about electronics.......

Hey Edison, which Traco do you normally use in your projectors? The TOP 100 or the TOP 200?

    Thanks,
