I have a gold box that says "Crystal Technologies Model 1027-25" with a BNC connector, think thats the Q-Switch driver no?

So I guess I don't have anything running my oven? theres also a heatsink full of big resistors, maybe thats what was doing it? cant remember

It's certainly possible, if the 'converter-person' did not address that... it's not that you *can't* run the sys, w/O an oven heater, it's just all about maintaining 'stability' / not blowing your x-tal up... I have no idea what your 'resistor-farm' is all-about - maybe an overkilled load-board attempt for the LVPS??

...I'd venure to guess, that when you run it in CW-mode, (..which is usually pretty-unstable, anyway - they don't 'like' being run, CW...) the output 'wavers' a lot, in power - looks like it's 'struggling'? That's what no-oven will get ya, and, certainly, running ovenless, you're at much-higher risk for a soon-cracked xtal, at a min...
The oven-controller / water-jacket, to 'balance' it out, is there for a reason, not just cuz of the 'pretty gold colored-box'....

Again, these are all benefits of buying a sys / DIYing a conversion with advice / direction from someone *with* a clue, vs not.... Something grossly lacking when n00bs buy these off FeeBay for $500. I know you're not in that 'category', and I'd be happy to help ya, if/when yer ready, down the road...

    For one-unit, Flat-rate should be only about $15. - $18. USD, depending on delivery-conf / ins. options...

...Buut, that's if you still would be interested, after I was a bit of a prick to you in your other thread... Sorry, it's just that I (..and others, here..) tend to be a bit jumpy-on what appear to be 'overstated power-claims'... we've had some rather 'unpleasant LS experiences' with some past-members, and - lord-knows - plenty of frustrating 'marketing-watts' discussions from chinsese OEMs, and the ever-infamous 'Lwerld' But, clearly, you're in neither of those categories, so, my apologies...

So, PM me if you wanna get in on this.. But, if you'd rather just tell me to go piss up a rope, I'll understand...

    cheers..

Laser Warning Last call for controllerhol! ;)

    k, Kats -

Finally heard-back from OI today, and they have the order 'in the pipeline'... ...they say, 'prolly-by ~end of next week', it will be the 'point of no-return' - that is to-say, they will be done with the board re-printing run, and will start to populate / solder-up, en-route to finalizing / testing, etc... then, I'm guessing, possibly several of their assemblers may be 'out for the holidays', since they are still stating about 4-6 weeks, till ship-ready... ..we'll see, but, point is –
*anyone else wants-in, now's the time*.. udderwise, you gotta order 10+ yerself...

    choo-choo..

Hope to have an update from OI, soon... have a standing email request in to them to 'please send an 'eta' when-close'.. which has-yet to be answered, so I can only-conclude they're still baking our cookies...

    Thanks for hangin-tight, Guys...

Yes, well... to a point.. They've been a bit too-quiet, for yet-another week.. (..spoke to them last week - which was a week 'over' their orig. deliv. estimate-week - and they said they'd 'send an updated eta-estimate'... insert crickets...) so, I'm gonna set up camp on their heinies in the am, and post an update / eta, asap.. I know no one said they were in an 'urgent need', but ... "6-8 weeks" has been blown, so...

..will try and get some-word, maņana, and an eta...
