    Default Connecting key switch?

    Hey,

    please donīt laugh about my question.

    Is it possible to connect a key switch between the psu and the laserdrivers???
    Or is it a bad idea?could it damage my Drivers?

    Sorry for being such a noob.

    Thanks,

    How about before the PSU's?
    Also incorporate a delay.

    The way I have my interlock wired I have a relay before the laser power supplies and a keyswitch for the shutter signal. The relay has to be closed AND the shutter signal key switched before any laser light gets out of the projector.

    The Keyswitch shouldn't carry the load.

    Thatīs what i meant.

    But what about:

    PSU 5v ->keyswitch->LD-Drivers
    PSU GND->---------- ->LD-Drivers.

    ???

    One sure way to get it all wired up correcly and with start delay etc is to use our ilda interface board. This is exactly what it was designed to do.
