Default Alton Towers 2011 Firework Spectacular

Went to this yesterday, lots of hot laser action!

Not my video (much better than my mobile phone attempts!) The joy of youtube!

Fantastic show, made better by an abundance of roller coasters!

Wow!, there's some money gone up in smoke there. Nice lasers too

I think lasers were CMT events (I know they've done them in the past there, and at Legoland)

I counted 3 RGB on the far side of the lake and 4 green on the sides. Impressive punch from the little greens that were sat on tripods/truss uprights in the field!

I think projectors was too close to fireworks...
High density of explosion smoke pull down laser effects... (it depend of wind direction/force also...)
    Anyway a nice show!
    Congrats!

    Yep Steve you are correct
I also went to another Display last night ... although no lasers...... there was also no wind .... which meant that the smoke never moved .... it just built up to a mushroom cloud that blocked the veiw of the fireworks
and as you said would also be too dense for lasers

    all the best ..

Yeaahhhhh! thats what its all about!
Lemme buy the programmers a beer

Wonder if they used pyrodigital for the pyro.
Kinda funny at the end the way the smoke totally obscured the ground.
That show was lucky to have it just barely going the opposite direction.
    Will there be three phase!!!!

Much better fireworks last night than Friday / Saturday, clear night and wind pretty much behaved. I also believe it was CMT events who did the laser. Not sure about the 3 x RGB but power of greens were around 12 Watts per head but may not be completely accurate (info was second hand).

I was thinking a couple of scopes on top of the towers would set it off nicely! Lot more stairs than Surfleet Village Hall though!
