    Default 445nm M140 diode current?

What is the known safe current with active cooling to drive this Diode?
and also the aprox. sweet spot temp.?

Most would just assume you would search or read the forum for the info. It has been beat to death in the past

That being said, not sure of the ideal temp (can;t recall where my tec floats), but many have driven at an amp and over with long term reliability. Some diodes preform better than others.

Yes it did very as time progressed, last check 900ma with decent heat sinking was the perfect life/bright ratio. Many have em running well over 1 amp, i'd stay under 1.5 though even with active cooling.
