    Hi All,

I have been asked by an events coordinator for a couple of laser shows I am performing next week, what my performance name is.

Well, if you were on the northern hemisphere of the earth, you could go by the name "polaris" aka north star.
I am not too sure if the equivalent "southern cross", or "crux" is equally appealing. any favourite other celestial stuff

However, i don't think that you do need a name. Your own name is good enough.

or you can try to piss DSLI jon off and call your firm the "Nightstar"
    he he he he!
    "its called character briggs..."

Bah, I was forced to a quick decision for promo material.

Ok, I finally went with "The Optic Nerve".

Even if I agree with LaNeK779 about "crux" or "southern cross", what about: "X Photon" or "PhotonX"?

Lol, no - he'd have to try a lot harder than that.... maybe if he stuck 'L@serworld' stickers all over our roadcases, or something...

    Hey Wayne...

Mmm... the Optic Nerve?? That sounds more like the pub you hit-up, after the gig...

You could 'put one in for the Gipper' (???) - I always wanted to use 'Waveforms' as a Co. name, but...some schlep took it, here.... If that's too 'serious' fer ya.... how about 'The Knight Who Said nmi'??

    ...Camper Van Lasetoven?

ok, I'll stop now / go away...

    cheers...

Aaaarggggh, don't get me started on names!

I always wanted to call my lighting company IllumiNorty (for obvious reasons!), but there is a company in the North called IllumiNaughty and we work in similar scenes, so I felt it would be a bit 'off' to do that, not to mentiont the confusion in speech...

But now I can't think of anything else, because every time I try, I come back to IllumiNorty....

For years now this has upset me....

Best of luck, that wasn't much help was it Wayne?

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.
