    Default Nord-Lock locking washers

I just wanted to share with you guys the Nord-Lock locking washer. I first got some of these for use on battery terminals but have since been putting them on everything I have. I've tossed out my red and blue loctite. These suckers WORK! Check out the video and the simple design.

from .10 cents a set to $1.00USD a set. Just about every size you can think of. Also in stainless steel. I got mine from Grainger but those guys are known for being a little $$$.

Yeah Granger sucks. Way too expensive.

Anyway, neat little lock washer. Next time I really need something to lock I will track some down.

    Yes these washers are good!
Have a look at what we use them on at work
    http://www.schenckprocess.com.au/vsf...20Screens1.pdf

We use them on 30ton vibrating screens that size iron ore. They have two-three exciters on them that have eccentric weights that spin to make it vibrate(kind of like a mobile phone vibrator motor except they weigh around 400kg 880lb each)

They run 24/7 and process thousands of tons of ore each hr. the lids of the exciter gearboxes are bolted down using these washers. The only other bolts on the screen are tightened with a hydraulic hy-torq. The rest of the fasteners a heavy duty rivets.

Ive never seen one of the m12 bolts that use these washer come loose.
