Default Prototype mounts and telescope lenses for ML520G71 reds

I Have been using these parts for prototyping some ML520G71 modules. I know a lot of people are experimenting with the diodes. Buying cylinders and mounts can get expensive. I have these just sitting here and figured someone may want to "play" with them.

Here are some prototype mounts made to ease in the centering of the ML520G71 diodes. I banged these out in a hurry so they are not perfect. They may have small machining defects that don't affect the functionality. They are 1.25 X 1.25 X .5 inches and have (4) 4-40 screws to adjust the centering of the diode. Also, the diode holder is rotatable to adjust the stripe to be perfectly vertical or horizontal. I have (4) available. 3 of them have 2 6-32 holes on two sides for mounting to your baseplate. One mount has them on one side only. I guarantee once you center your diode with these you will wonder how you did it with out them $15 each plus shipping!

Next I have 5 sets of ~90mm FL and ~-12mm FL lenses I have been using for prototyping. They are uncoated or coated with an off spec coating. Therefore, expect to lose around 18-20% . They were larger and I cut them down so they may have chips and possibly glue on the perimiter. However, they have at least a 5mm X 5mm clear aperture. I figure for $5 a set some may want to play with them. Expect to get 5mm X 5mm at aperture and less than 1mRad.

I have been using the 405-g-1. I have an order in for some optima lenses that should work just as well.

Not sure? It is for me because I have 5mm mirrors. I kind of posted the same question here: http://www.photonlexicon.com/forums/...271#post215271 see post #604

These are not the same as Dr. Lava's cyl. lenses, right?

No. not sure what the Fl's are on his. This makes a 8X tele but with the high divergence on the diode the magnification is a bit greater.
