    Default ophir meter head

Looking for a ophir power meter head.
The one you can use on a dmm to read laser power
Would prefer a UK seller as I don't have PayPal ' but may be able to ask a friend that does
Or can do bank transfer or Google checkout

Would buy one from eBay but don't know what to model to get? Could some one let me know

I just checked ebay for any items under "Ophir", there aren't any listed of the type that you want unless you want to pay $640 for one of Lasersbee's premade meters. Seems even the resellers have run out of piles now.

The ones you want are the 20C-A-1-Y heads.

Those heads have become very rare...
    I found this one....
    http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Ophir-OEM-Las...item5addb2b881

It has a calibrated output of 0.1V/Watt. All that you would need
is an Op Amp circuit with a gain of 10 to get 1V/W..

Absorber is optimized for CO2 (10.6um) and Er:YAG (2.94um) lasers I notice in the ebay ones posted. Any guesses as to how that would affect measurement delay and accuracy ?

    Sorry for the late reply....
The OPHIR 20C heads can handle 4Watts without additional cooling.
When properly cooled they will handle 20 watts.
