Anyway, it is not Winni's faulse, hope you are not angry with her. The LED wall wash light will give these spare parts to me in 4 days, because they just ordered some laser light from us,we will take the lasers to their factory and get these spare parts back.

If any questions, please feel free to contact me.

    Nice day!

To rectify this, your company should send the replacement parts that I need and have requested for 6 months. Winni, John Wen, and now you have said you would send replacement parts, but I am still without working lights. This speaks volumes about your company. When and if I get replacement parts I will gladly post here that the situation was resolved.

    Hi people,

Im looking into getting a N-RGB3000 from goldenstar and was wondering what the white balance would be like with this laser? do you guys think the red will be lacking or not?
This will be my first RGB by the way so want to get it right as I can within my budget.

Also do you think it worth getting the dt40 wides with it? Will mainly be using the laser for beam shows rather than grahics (although I'd like to venture into abstract graphics eventually) for smaller club nights 200 to 500 capacity

Thanks in advance for any response.

I've been emailing with Winni for a while now about this same projector. She's been great to communicate with.

I have the same concern as you about the white balance though.
Winni said this video is using the N-RGB2500 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZ738KnaG6o
It looks good but not a great way to see the color balance.

I'm still waiting to see more before ordering it.

I think dt40 wides are worth it... it's not that much more expensive and you'll see many people on this forum are running dt40 wides... it's one of the big reasons I like goldenstarlaser over the competitors using pt40s (not that pt40s are bad, I just see lots of people happy with their dt40 wides).

I haven't decided how I want them tuned, but I think I will ask that they be tuned to 30K for wider scanning. That seems like a good place to start (before I delve into the world of retuning them myself).

I also would get the 3d holder upgrade so you can make adjustments to the alignment if necessary.

Feel free to ask me any other questions. I've been doing a lot of research on projectors at this price point, and it looks like I'm after the same thing as you (beam shows and later abstracts).

    Thanks Bill,

I've emailed winni and am still awaiting a reply but still a bit early for that.

That video doesn't look too bad. As you say though, not the best way to see the colour balance but still get a good idea I guess.

I think I most probably will go with the wides as like you say, seen many people happy with them on here and think it'd be better to have option to use it that wide than not to. As regards to tuning, I'm relatively new to lasers compared to a lot of the people on here (been using lasers for a few years but never really delved into the mechanics too much (something I've been meaning to though!)) so I may need a little advice with the benefits of different tuning.

Also, I take it the holders are not easily adjusted then hence the need for the 3d holder upgrade?

    Hi Bill,

For this 3W RGB, it has good white balance really. We promoted this item because of Bridge's suggestion and his support. Because competition is serious, and laserwave and goldenstar want to promote some good item at good price, this N-RGB3000 is one of them. We sold a lot of this N-RGB3000 already, and get a good feedback from customers, colors is amazinng, and beam is sharp. We also compare with RGB with laserwave and other suppliers' , laserwave beam beam is sharp and clear, and color is very nice. Some customers thinks this red is too less to mix 1W green, actually, it is not, because it is 637 red not 650.

We also have one in stock, but going to if you are interested in it, you can contact Winni, and add her skype , and she can show you by webcam.

For DT40pro and DT40 wide, if for beam show, you can consider DT40 wide, but if in this N-RGB3000, the red will lose some power in scanner mirror, because red is a little bigger than green. Even though you use DT40pro, you can set up bigger angle, just need to adjust its size in AMP,and speed is lower.

If any questions, please feel free to contact us.

    Best regards

mimi, are you saying that the red will lose more power with DT40wide versus DT40pro? That doesn't make any sense to me. Can you explain?

    planters,

i believe the mirrors on the dt40w's are longer, but narrower.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

    I see.
The dt40pro can be fitted with mirrors for a 3mm beam or 5mm beam, and the dt40w only for 3mm beam.
The 637nm is a "<4mm" beam, so there will be some loss on the dt40w mirror.

Everyone on these forums seems to love the wides and I was excited by them as well.
But the 637nm is the weakest power and I'd hate to have any loss of it.
    This complicates the decision.

I wonder how significant that loss is.
    Anyone care to speculate?
