    Default Extreme Lasers from eBay

I know the company has not had a very good track record, but does this laser seem good value?

I dont think I have seen any blue laser at that price.

I've won a few of their ebay auctions now... every now and then you can get an amazing deal, but don't expect much in the way of customer service.

Of the 3 GBS-100s (greens) that I bought they measured 75, 85, and 35mw. I also got an 80mw module from them a while ago that showed up doa - took them about 4 weeks to replace it.

Rather than bother returning the 35, I took it apart and realigned the vanadate/ktp module to the diode. I got it running at around 85mw, then modestly turned up the pot to get about 95mw ( think it was set a little low to begin with). Then before I had a chance to put it back together again one of my cats knocked the thing off my table and I haven't been able to get it past 30mw since.

Well as you can see I got it for £312 ($587)
It hasn't arrived yet but I expect it any day now.
I haven't got any means of testing the o/p power so I will just hope it is 50mW and looks ok.

I'll update you when it gets here
