Hello

I have been browsing the most excellent wealth of content within the PL forums for quite some time, and now would like to officially say hello. I am an electrician by trade, control systems integrator by profession, and all things electronic by hobby - including my recent drift of interest into higher power lasers.

With the soon to be New Year I would like to wish everyone good fortune, as I like to believe that a truly Happy New Year depends on what you do for others.

Nice to meet ya and welcome! You are not alone. I regularly run into people at laser meets that just keep up on things here, but don't post.

Heck, I've been kind of scarce myself.. :-D

Thanks for welcoming, I do appreciate it.

I've collected enough laser diodes, modules, drivers, TECs and heat sinks to get started, along with having bought my first projector (even though it is only a 500mW RGB it does have an ILDA port) where a bit of trial and error won’t be so catastrophic.

I do plan to continue to learn from you guys, where maybe I will be able to contribute just a tad here and there as I find things that might be of value.

With winter fixing to set in, what better way to light things up with rather than a bit of coherent light, eh?
