I have it on good authority that these are at best Scanpros or at worst Scanpro Clones(which either way is a god thing IMO)

... Once they are in route to AixiZ and we get the prices a GB/Forum member discount WILL happen for 10 sets only... those who wanted in on the DT GB have first options.

Sorry this has taken so long but we may get a better deal on better quality sets for our wait....

Adam and Adam have offered to give these a good testing..A lotta <3 to both of them... Thats the kind of help that makes thise forum so awesome.

Maybe AixiZ will add a set to the already offered QS to our doorprize pool at TEXLEM...

    ..btw
we REALLY need a few more to sign up for TEXLEM-=ASAP=-

we are running out of time to make TEXLEM happen.

PLEASE PM Greg(Displaser) asap or add your support to our LEM efforts with some kind words...We would do same for any LEM anywhere anytime..........

    ..

    ...

EVEN if it was scheduled for the same time as the Superbowl... we had no choice--for TEXLEM 2013 will will chose a diff date. If we can get it on TV at URBAN15 we certainly will.

    Doesen't it start around noon??

IF we can gei it on TV at the LEM I am willing to do snacks for a TEXLEM Superbowl party...
    whatever it takes.........
Thanks in advance for posts of encouragement by all.

IMO there will be and hve been many Superbowls but to me choosing TEXLEM is a no brainer....

Looks like the sonnima galvos (or scanpro). Many people including me got burned galvo's with sonnimas.

we now use only DT40 (W) there reputation is ok.

    They arrived burnt?

afaik no maker can promise no failure if galvo gets overclocked ( NOT saying that is what happened just something I keep seeing about scansets and burnt galvos)

They will not be sentout w/o the AixiZ warranty so risk is not as great and replacement will come fast from Houston not China.

    DT declined all offers so....

They do look like Sonima, but the datasheet has different model numbers?

Lets hope Aixiz got better support than sonima, after a galvo died within a few months they stopped replying to email

And no they where not overclocked tweaked or anything, just during a beamshow one of the galvos died. same happened to Srs, and Edison, and I recall Hobbybob had problems with noisy galvos. And I think dave didn't stopped selling them without a reason.

I can only talk about the 2800 series. The testpattern at 20 degrees looks fine, better than laserworld LW50K, but not as good as the DT40(W)

But LW50K never dies, even if you punish them with big size raster scanning.
