I think you are right.
Looking at the ILDA circuit the intensity connection is being used.
So I guess that is why it is on all the time.
Well a little job becons for my trusty soldering iron.

Yup... bingo.
If you have a monochrome projector you can use the maser blanking line. But if you have an RGB projector, you use the individual intensity lines for each color.
Of course, if you have your projector wired up as an RGB unit, you can STILL switch it to monochrome operation by changing the software setting in Mamba. But if it's wired as a monochrome projector, you can't switch it to RGB mode so that it only shows the green parts of the files.
Yeah - sounds like a job for the soldering iron all right. Fortunately it's an easy fix.
