ummmm......$500-$1000. Hmmmm......"International recording artist" going on a "worldwide tour" and you have a $500/$1000 budget for "Professional" Laser effects??

What goes through peoples minds sometimes?? come on....$500/$1000 is a budget for Food and water in your "green room" at shows. Or a budget for a few blinkie twinky strobe lights.

I was told by a promoter last month that he never pays more than "£20 per lazorr per night". You can sort of expect this from an 18 year old boy but this guy is well known and respected promoter.

I was offered £300 for a 4W RGB for a NYE gig (free/squat party) that ran for nearly 24 hours. I declined. The party got busted before it started.
Unfortunately one of my mates got caught up with it and quite a ot of kit impounded.
I believe it reached a decent conclusion though.
