Two of the Coemar Nat Scans were up for auction at the same time, but I couldn't think of anything useful to do with them in this solid state era!

I suspect this was all quite expensive in it's day!
I believe that Voyager is the Modified PC / Software pack and the Mirage is the control surface, from memory of my conversation... The whole system first cost in excess of £19,000 and the Natscans were around £10,000 The yolk was made by Coemar and the internals were done by Laser Innovations which included scanners, gratings and I think colour control (think PCAOM) all fibre fed...

I'll be seeing Dave tomorrow, so fire any questions at me tonight if you have any and I'll ask Dave tomorrow...

Laser Innovations concentrate mainly on forensic systems now and Dave Hickford set up on his own with the show stuff: http://lasertechnologyltd.co.uk/en/main.shtml

The FB3 console looks interesting: http://lasertechnologyltd.co.uk/en/centaur.shtml

    Wahey! Quite a bargain then!

The modified PC is quite fascinating, I didn't realise quite how unique it was until I popped it open!

I haven't had much more chance to play with it since last week, I'm going to hook it up to a full colour projector as most of the Hot Ice stuff has colour elements, no questions yet, to be honest, it does seem to work remarkably well considering it's age, and the controls are fairly intuitive! If I think of anything I'll let you know, thanks again!

That dedicated FB3 DMX board is a very smart idea, great for a fixed show, that'd be rock solid!
