    Hi Edison,

What is the beam height on the red?

Is this a quad LOC design? If so, how have you combined?

The beam height is 29 mm to match with laserwave greens and CNI. Some CNI greens are 25 mm and also lasever (cni heads ) that needs to be raised 4mm.
Its a combined Loc and you can drop it without going out of allignment :-) I can also build blue,s up till 8 watt and tec cooled. I did a calculation and the beam at exit from the quad red is 3.8 x 3.8 and 15mm on 26 meter. The divergence is actually lower then 0.5 mrd According to :

    pseudonomen.com/lasers/calculators/mRadCalculator.html

And you can swap the diodes to 637 in time when you made some money with doing shows. 1150mw is a good start for a projector. Together with a 1 watt module and a nice 500mw green you have a good projector to start with and you can upgrade the red later in time.

I can build them in series now. I have a 1150mw and a 1 watt blue ready to ship.

Ok, thanks. It's a shame my modules are all 24.8mm beam height. I guess I could shim the other modules and scanners...

How many LOC's and how are they combined?

I'll get back to you as I am also waiting on costs for a Kvant red module.

I can build a module with a beamheigh of 24.8 so that is no problem. Kvant is 28.2 mm beamheight so that won,t fit either.

Here a couple of more beamshots :

my point of view is that Kvant should not sell directly themselves to customers. What is the point of having dealership then? They could sell them directly but for the same end users price as the dealer offers. But in laserbussiness RGB and Kvant sell modules directly to customers and i think that is not fair. That,s why people buy directly at kvant to save money and i don,t blame them. Kvant and RGB should just point them to the local dealer in this case Dave. But i think this is a discussion that needs to be taken somewhere else so gentleman could you please take this to another thread

The prices above are from the UK dealership (Synchrovision) not Kvant directly. They were only posted in response to Dnar's response saying he's waiting on Kvant's pricing before making a decision.

Ultimately Edison this isn't an attempt to persuade him 1 way or another. Just to provide prices without which he isn't going to decide either against or in favour of your modules.
