Not the best photo, however it does show the difference between 635nm 200mW and 655nm 200mW. No blanking at all in this photo, both lasers set to output max and just used pangolin to drive the scanners.

But when I draw a line in Mamba, it`s some sort of flickering in the beginning..
    Like it`s calibrating itself...

Maybe it`s just a minor of not been warmed up ?
I have never tryed my laser on for such a long time... so maybe it`s normal during warmup time
I had a bit of a problem with two of the three colors flickering now and then. I stopped using the 3 power supplies that were supplied and I am now using a 5V 20amp switching supply from www.jameco.com. So far the output has been pretty solid since using the new single supply, still testing though!

Jut out of interest, those mirror mounts look perfect for an application we need them for,

Thats just a small test bench I threw together. The final projector will be quite different.

That is the Newport HVM-1i mirror mount. Which I found to be perfect for combining beams in this manner. They are verticle drive so no more fingers blocking the beam paths. Newport has 3 different version of this verticle drive mount, a 1/2 inch (12.5mm) model with thumb screws on top, 1 inch (25mm) model with thumbscrews and this model which is also a 1 inch (25mm) and does not have thumb screw. It is a bit thinner than the other models allowing greater clearance for combining beams. Sorry to say that I purchased the last of Newport's stock of the HVM-1i. They said it may be some time before they get any more. Aparently it has been a very popular item. Checking thier web site, the stock status for the HVM-1i still says call for availability. Its a bit pricey, though well worth it in my opinion.
