Genuine CT 6800HP 'Y' Mirror(s)...

Hey Kats -

Hunting one, (at least) Genuine Cambridge Tech 6800HP 'Y' Mirror.. if someone, somehow, magically has a 'cache' of these, in a protected mountain-cave, somewhere I'll gladly buy a couple or more... but, even one will do, for now..

..and, 'thanks, but no-thanks', to: Offers for any 'Chi-quivalents' etc - really only want OEM CT-mir, if-possible.. (..cause I know they'll 'handle the power'...); also, no-thanks to any 'other' whole / Chi-vo-offers... although, I might consider, ie: 1x 'dead' / baked 6800HP Y-gal, if it has the accompanying mirror, and it's flawless...

..Also, it needs to be for / from an "HP" which is the one that is ~0.8-9mm th. vs the 1mm th. of a 'standard' 6800... You can kinda see how the HP-mir is ever-so slightly thinner, here: http://i512.photobucket.com/albums/t...2/P7066743.jpg - (..compare the Y with the 'B' (Blanker..) which is just a 'standard 6800' Y, mounted sideways.. too-thick for an HP..

Yes, I know... I can 'take it up the pooper', with new ones from CT, and, no - 'OSLS' does not stock just-these mirs... I'd have to buy a whole new set, and, well.. that kinda defeats the purpose of seeking a replacement mir, for an otherwise perfectly-good 6800HP..

..Any hope from the PL Clan?

These guys might be worth a shout, they are just up the road from me, but I think they have a place in Canada too... Dunno how useful that is for you? i know the UK shop has CT mirrors, they replaced a 6215hp mirror only last week and turned it around in a day, so must have been from stock...

PS - a million-years ago, Bill and I were corresponding in email about customizing an FB3 to take in a contact-closure for a scene-triggerer, etc something something something, and he mentioned that the 'Laser Dragster w/ PangoChick' had gotten printed / was up n the wall somewhere (??) If that's still up, that would give me a good belly-LOLZ.. Gracias, Homie...
