Can someone help with wiring power supplys to servo?

a question steve, if i may threadjack a bit
if a power supply does have sense + / - and i leave this not connected, keeping my wires short (less than 50cm) is it ok or should i connect it anyway?

i had no idea what this did, just thought that it was some read-out feed and not a feedback loop

Sense should always be connected, either at the power supply or at the load end with small wires to feedback the sense signal.

If your wire diameter is small, or your galvos are ultra fast, use the sense option if it is there.
