AC or DC fans?

I use AC fans. They power up once the interlock switches on mains power. You can get them from Mouser. Datasheet:

I too use AC fans, but I keep them on when the interlock is open to cool the scanner amps and DC supply (for the interlock controller). Having these stop when I shut off the lasers would not suit my purposes.
