    Default DB25 cable and ILDA connector

    Can anyone tell me if there is any differnce between DB25 cable and the ILDA cable? :?:

    As long as all 25 pins pass through the cable you will be fine. Some DB25 are Null Modem or serial and do not have all pins connected. Usually DATA Transfer Cables have all 25 pins..Hope this helps!

    Realistically, do ALL 25 cables need to be connected?

    17 will do won't it????

    It really depends on the cable. Some cables are not wired One-to-One either. Usually its best to have all the pins there, just in case you want to use the UDSs down the line...
