If it's not too late, put me down for 6 of Daves 2mm FL lenses.
    Thanks.

This looks good. I am in for 4 sets of the cylinders. I can source the 2mm lens, the diode holders, and the flexmounts from LSPs; diodes from DTR and PBS from JML. All have been very responsive in the past.

    Any recommendation for the wave-plate?

    kiyoukan,

Thanks for sending me here from the grail thread. But, that thread is simply tooooo long and despite having followed it when possible and contributing to it more than once. I just gave up searching without end for all the references to the COMBINED performance of the multiple diode set ups. What happens when we telescope two slightly off axis beams thru the cylinders? Is the far field unchanged vs. one on axis beam What is the conclusion re the "wings" issue.

    Beam,

I am still a little confused about the orientation of the stacked beams. IF the stripes are all vertical, then I get it. The double-decker bus analogy confounds me.

planters, i will try to get what info i can right now im just busy keeping things organized.
But i know you can source the 2mm FL directly from dave along with the holder but it would be helpful to add to the GB count as we are a tiny bit low.
Also we can add things from daves shop if you wanted us to order brass flexmounts and holders.
We are going to have a large order being shipped and the extra weight should not do to much.
Plus we are going to pay the extra for fast shipping.

That would be OK if that would help. I have been waiting for a pretty big order to be filled by Dave for an 8 diode 445 module, but have been holding for his X-Y adjustable diode mounts to be available. I was hopping to have the 2mm installed by Dave if it turns out that these will need to be glued as opposed to retained by rings like his other lens barrels. I can go what ever way is best.

Actually lenses and brass retainers are very light in comparison to diode housings and flex mounts.

Well as long as maybe a couple bucks right the extra weight should not make the package double the price.

I was about to send you the PM and it looks as if Dave has just posted that he shipped the GB package. If so, then I guess all I will need to get from you will be the cylinder lenses. Right? I can pay whenever you want.

    Let me know.
    Eric
