I would wait for Dave. If you can't then I would simply order stock lenses from Edmond. The alternative you present seems to be a hassle and uncertain and not very inexpensive either.

kiyoukan is working on something very cool right now, so am sure in a day or two he will be right back on the ball. one certain thing is the next GB will have lower prices for all three lenses including the little one that is now somehow quite expensive.

I am alive just working threw a overload of work.
And holidays are going to keep me busy till they are over.
More to come soon i hope with updates for many projects going on atm.
From some super cool (0c) diode builds, fully digital galvos, some optics stuff, 100W analog laser driver, simple and cheap TEC driver,
Going to be on the road again for a few days going to try to keep more updates coming.
