By that I mean for example, regardless what each color each point in a timeline is, change it to white. I'd like to do this smoothly too, for example with my midi fader.

Im experimenting with live shows and this effect helps changing the laser animation to fit the mood of the music (red=agressive, white=energetic/buildup, etc.) and also helps helps the laser beams fit witht he rest of the visuals (led wall, mapping, etc).
I can already do this with "emulasers" and video projector software but want to use my laser now for overhead beams.
there's not really currently a "saturation" control, although it has been discussed and i imagine it will be added in the future. however, i'm sure you could achieve the effect by using the Post RGB/I effect and using frequency filtered audio data to manipulate each color channel.
