I haven't been here for a few days. Been trying to save the world in my own little way. That seems to command all my time and most of my energy. I want to thank all of you for your comments and direct messages. I have had generous offers and low-ball bids on the equipment I have to offer. I get that in this forum there are a lot of people just beginning their endeavors into laser light and that funds are tight. Up to this point, there haven't been any offers that individually or collectively make sense for me to part with this system. I want to say that most of you are being fair and honest and that I appreciate that. I've had this equipment mothballed for a little while, and honestly it isn't costing me anything to keep it. So as I have said to a few of you in private messages, for now, I'm content to let it sit and let whatever transpires happen. I'm in no rush. When the moment is right for me and the buyer(s), it'll happen.

One thing I have given a lot of thought to however is the shows. I accumulated these shows for years from trades and gifts with artists all over the world. These were works of art that people poured their souls into. These works of art were given to me with the trust that I would not distribute them. I saw a post here recently about gigs of uploaded shows and a warning that some of them were copywrited ... I'm not willing to trash the trust of those who so generously traded shows with me over the years. If you think about it, and if you create shows yourself for your livelihood or simply for the passion of doing so , ask yourself what it would feel like if your work were being distributed willy-nilly all over the place. So at this point, the shows are off the table. I hope you understand. It's an ethical issue.

Still for sale ... I think someone suggested I video-demo the rig. I'll see if I can get to that.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

It is a lot easier to sell something if you post a price, maybe I have missed it or something. But I have been jerked around with the offers thing by so many never again will I play the game that can turn into. Offers equal put it on eBay a price equals ya wanna sell it here. My 2 cents.

A list of content would also help to determine a value IMO for those that would put an offer out there.

Very sweet system half wish it were for sale.

This system has been on the back of my mind for QUITE some time! I'm still hoping to get the deal done but, still trying to jam together the funds. I've had a few other silly purchases since then, not to mention like $2000 of dental work.

    I'm working on it though!!!

If you ever decide to part, I've got my eyes on the galvos and amps! Looks like you have those catweasle scanners too... is it still a complete package without the camtech galvos/amps? Very interested

good luck with that, its only losing value as time goes on...

as far as the shows no idea where you are seeing "gigs of shows", there is the FTP site but those shows were all added by their creators or with permission...

anyhow, I would rather my work get distributed than die in a cardboard box, but that's just me

To be honest, anyone here on PL with that kind of money to drop would definitely be a professional and would not distribute shows without the consent of the author. We also have pro members who fight copyright infringement actively, Bill Benner of Pangolin being one of them. I couldn't afford this range of equipment, but if I could, without the additional artwork it would be a deal breaker. Just my 2 cents. Do what you feel is right.
