so, here's the big problem with pangolin quick show:
it does a decent job at tracing bitmaps, but it will not export ILDA. you are locked into pangolin's proprietary format and you're hosed if you want to use the file on a non-pangolin (read: industry standard) system.
there's a lot of text in your image. you may have problems scanning it quickly enough to keep the flicker down.
i've had good luck using inkscape (free) and ILD SOS (cheap) to convert bitmap to ilda.

I will post the image - its the curved bit to the left of the text that I`m after. I can sort the text myself. I have been looking at pangolin QS and it looks very good and easy to use. We do have a spare laptop that I could use to run pangolin and this would be linked to the laser.
Just wondering what you guys reckon about QS?
Also can you let me know how to post my ILDA files for other people to have a look at?
Cheers
Paul

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
